Revolta, Batalha, Mudança: Galeria Luisa Strina

Opening: December 13, 7pm Galeria Luisa Strina is pleased to present its third solo show “Revolt, Battle,Change” by Carlos Garaicoa.

In this third solo show at Galeria Luisa Strina, there will shown the most recent production of tapestries, under the name “Revolt, Battle,Change”, as part of the series “End of Silence”. All these pieces depict floors of old department stores in Havana, with inserted critical notes in order to transform the photographic document that constitutes the core of this proposal. Five new tapestries, especially produced for Galeria Luisa Strina, will be on display this time.
